I bought the carrier for my 2 month old kitten. She fits in there fine now but I know that by the time she’s 1 year old it will be too small. Since I didn’t want to have to buy another carrier then, I just returned the thing. Useless.

I LOVE the Bergan carrier. I bought the Small size and it is perfect for my little guy. The fleece lining is removeable for washing and velcro on the bottom which keeps it secure to the bottom of the carrier.
The small size is the perfect size, it fits in shopping carts, bike baskets, etc..so the little guy can accompany almost anywhere!
I only wish I thought ahead and bought one size larger because my guy will most likely grow out of it.

I bought this for an airline trip with our 6 pound Chihuahua, Rudi. He fit the carrier pretty well, somewhat cramped though, but it does offer plenty of ventilation, and fairly easy access for getting the reluctant pooch in and out of the unit, and has a nicely padded faux sheepskin floor that’s removable and washable. The carrier has the right dimensions for under-seat stowage according to most airlines, and it did fit easily under the seat in front of me, even in coach class. However, being a ’soft-sided’ design, the ‘frame’ seems a bit flimsy and doesn’t hold its shape but tends to collapse around the occupant, especially when it’s carried over the shoulder with the strap. The carrier has mesh expandable pockets and zippers that are useful for bringing a leash, food, water, etc. One of the mesh pockets on my unit popped a seam the first time out–a defective stitch. Overall, for the fair price and passable quality and quick shipping, I think it is a good buy, and will do the job for a few more trips.

I purchased this tote to bring my puppy home in about 4 months ago, and it was perfect. She grew out of it now, but for the time she did fit it in, she seemed very comfortable.

I haven’t taken the flight yet, but this size meets the airline standards for carry-on pets. And the price was right. I didn’t want to spend over $50 on an airline approved carrier that I’m probably only fly with once! It’s very light and has a shoulder strap, which is a blessing when you are walking through an airport. I’m picking up a cat that weighs around 6.5 lbs. And cats curl up in a ball when they are in strange surroundings so she won’t be cramped in this carrier and there is plenty of ventilation. I have a hard-sided carrier, the smallest I could get and it’s still too big for the airline standards, plus it doesn’t have a shoulder strap and it’s heavy! I’ll be able to use this carrier for trips to the vet and possible short trips to visit my daughters. So far, I’m impressed with it. And, like I said, the price was right.
